Handling personal data

Personal data includes all types of information that somehow identifies you. When you use our website, we collect and process such information. As an example, this takes place during normal access to content, if you register for our newsletter, take place in competitions or surveys, if you register as a user or subscriber, if you use other services or if you shop through the website. Typically, we collect and process the following types of information: a unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographical location and the type of web pages that you look at (interests). To the extent that you provide your explicit approval of this and type in the information yourself, we also process: name, phone number, e-mail, address and payment information. Usually, this happens during login set-up or shopping.

We have implemented suitable technical and organisational initiatives to prevent your data from accidentally or illegally being deleted, published, lost, reduced, or being made available to unauthorised people, abused or in other ways being processed against regulations.


The data is used to identify you as a user and show you the adverts that will probably be most relevant to you, to register your purchases and payments, and to deliver those services that you have requested, e.g. sending you a newsletter. Furthermore, we use the data to optimise our services and content.

We collect, process and store only the personal data needed to fulfil our defined purpose. You can use the contact data form above to inform us about such changes and we will make sure to update your personal data. If we find out that your data is not correct, we will update the information and inform you about this.

Storage period

Data is stored for the amount of time which is allowed by legislation and we delete it when it is no longer needed. This period depends on the type of information and the reason for storing it. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a general time frame for data deletion.


Your approval of receiving a newsletter is voluntary and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Use the contact information below if you would like further information.

Data disclosure

Data about your use of the website, which adverts you receive and perhaps click on, geographical location, gender and age segment etc. is disclosed to third parties to the extent that such information is available. You can see a list of relevant third parties in the section about ”Use of cookies” above. The data are used for tailor-made advertising purposes. In addition, we use a range of third parties for data storage and processing. They only process the data on our behalf and are not allowed to use the data for their own purpose. Disclosure of personal data such as name, e-mail etc. will only happen if you provide your approval. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries where sufficient protection of your personal data is guaranteed.

Access and complaints

You have a right to be provided with information on the type of personal data about you that we process. Additionally, you may at any time take exception to the use of such data. You can also withdraw your approval of your data being processed. If the processed personal data about you is wrong, you have the right to demand that it is corrected or deleted.
